We Specialize in software optimization of motor control devices of cars, tractors and trucks. While tuning we extract the original Software and rewrite an optimized version, based on dyno tests in Europe.
What is chip tuning?
With chiptuning the software of the engine control unit is optimized. There are various parameters e.g. Amount of fuel, ignition timing, charge pressure etc.
The result:
For engines with a turbocharger a performance increase between 15% and 35%, and a significantly greater torque increase is guaranteed. Under normal aspirated engines, the increase in performance is
at about 5-10%. This will enormously improve the acceleration and torque. The fuel consumption under normal driving will be reduced!
Why do vehicle manufacturers not do this themselves?
The manufacturer designs vehicles for the global market. This has a number of parameters such as:
-Emission standards
-Differences in temperature
-Insurance classes etc
This makesit impossible to deliver peak performance on all vehicles.
Does tuning decrease engine life?
That depends on the modification of tuning. If no limits are exceeded, and is the driving of the
customer is “normal”, no increase in wear and tear can be expected.
